The most important service that I offer is the ability to assist people to settle disputes under mutually agreed upon terms.
Litigation Mediation:
I specialize in resolving disputes in the field of information technology. I have more 15 years of experience in the IT field. I am also available to mediate civil disputes of all types, including "wrongful dismissal" and Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program (non-roster).
A mediation session can generally be booked with only 30 to 60 days notice. All mediations are billed at a very reasonable per-day rate.
Please note that mediation services for litigated disputes must be engaged through counsel. In the event that you have come across my web site, and are currently involved in a lawsuit, please ask your lawyer to contact me and I will be happy to make arrangements to mediate the dispute.
Online Mediation Services:
Please email me to discuss options for online coaching and mediation. I do not provide online services for litigation related conflicts, but a timely online intervention can be very helpful to cost effectively resolve "one time" crises, especially where the major sources of conflict are non-monetary.
Online Negotiation Coaching:
I also provide online negotiation consulting and coaching to individuals (either independently or through employers). Negotiation coaching and consulting is fully personalized.
Coaching and consulting sessions are conducted using The Goal Focused Way, a system developed by Allan Revich that includes the strategic thinking of Sun Tzu (Art Of War), the collaborative bargaining tools of Fisher and Uri (Getting to Yes)
Using The Goal Focused Way, I provide clients with the tools they need to formulate goals, and to focus on the means of achieving those goals. My goal is ALWAYS to facilitate the accomplishment of client goals.

Rate Table:
Mediation rate: $1500/day (includes a maximum of 6 hours of face-to-face meeting time per 8 hour business day)
Evening Mediation rate: $1500/day (includes a maximum of 3 hours of face-to-face meeting time per evening. Evening mediations commence at 7 PM)
Base Hourly Rate: $250/hr. Rate applies to each partial hour after maximum reached and to online mediations.
Online rates: Base hourly rate for "chat"-based services (billed by the hour, no minimum requirement, partial hours charged a full hour after 10 minute grace period). Encrypted online chat is available. Needs-based discounts available.
Mediations require a payment of $750 from each party prior to the mediation date. Litigants and counsel are jointly and severally responsible for all mediation fees, charges, and expenses.
Law firms may remit payment by cheque. All other payments should be made by Paypal unless otherwise agreed. Paypal is the world's leading provider online secure payment systems. Please do not prepay services that have not been pre-arranged.
